The continuous expansion of the subsidiary network in the central Asia markets continues unabatedly for PM-International AG. On 7/17/2012, the soft launch opening of the new PM National Headquarter in the metropolis Bangkok took place in front of numerous guests, international PM leaders, celebrities, influential political and economic decision makers, as well as an extensive Thai media presence.
Bangkok – 7.025 million inhabitants and one of the most important economic and logistics centers in south East Asia – this is the prime example for economic growth with enormous drive. The result was logical. PM pulled out all the stops to be represented by a top-modern and prestigious National Headquarter in one of Bangkok’s best neighborhoods. This was a momentous step in PM’s expansion, which had been prepared for over two years. Numerous PM leaders from various Asian nations and Germany were intimately involved with the expansion process and, of course, in attendance at the opening. This included Allan Chen, Executive Vice President from Malaysia, Dr. Annie Lim, Executive Vice President from Canada/Malaysia, Christie Wong, Executive Vice President from Malaysia, Dr. Mark Wong Executive Vice President from Malaysia and Martin Majhenic, Silver President`s Team from Germany.
In his opening speech, Sascha Gamper, PM-International Sales Development Chief Department Manager, recognized the enormous commitment of PM Thailand’s new CEO, Siripong Pipatsattayanuwong, since the signing of the licensing agreement for the NHQ in September 2010. With his commitment to PM and the opening of the Thai market, he will play a key role in the future expansion of PM-International AG in Asia. Further, Sascha Gamper thanked Martin Majhenic and his team for the sacrifice they made to support the opening of the NHQ and the close, good cooperation over the last weeks and months.
CEO Siripong Pipatsattayanuwong took advantage of the opening celebration to point out in his address that he was highly impressed by the innovative power, as well as the excitement and motivation of the PM Teampartners. Most of all, he was impressed by the economic strength of the European family company PM-International AG and his own impressively positive results with the PM premium products. This led him to the firm decision to develop Thailand for PM-International.
Another guest of honor during the festive opening in Thailand was PM Sales Director Asia Pacific Rim, Lum Peng Cheong. He emphasized the huge market potential for PM in south East Asia. The economic development in Thailand and the high regard for PM-International and its premium products in all of Asia form a stable foundation for PM to quickly reach a significant market position in Thailand.
In the press conference held on the day following the opening with the best known and most widely circulated daily newspapers as well as the country’s Network Marketing media CEO Siripong Pipatsattayanuwong, General Manager Jaturong Egkawatpanit and Sascha Gamper answered the many questions of journalists present and pointed out once again the huge potential of PM-International AG in Thailand.
