GLABUS JOINS BENTLEY MOTORS AS NEW COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
(Crewe, 27 July 2012) Wolfgang Glabus (52) is appointed Communications Director for Bentley Motors, Crewe effective September 1, 2012. He will report directly to Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bentley Motors from September 1, 2012.
BENTLEY LINES UP NEW PR TEAM FOR EUROPE
(Crewe, 25 July 2012) Bentley Motors announces its complete European PR team line up. Kerstin Sachl is appointed Head of PR, Europe, Tom Housley joins as PR Manager for Europe East and Fransizka Rothe becomes PR Manager for Europe West. The new team will be based at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, UK.
ROLLS-ROYCE WELCOMES CHINA ENTREPRENEUR CLUB

MINI and PUMA seal a multi-year licence partnership
Munich / Herzogenaurach. Automotive manufacturer MINI and sports lifestyle brand PUMA have signed a worldwide license agreement sealing their partnership over a period of several years. The collaboration brings together two innovative and iconic brands with a long-standing passion for functionality, performance and design, and centres on a joint collection of clothing, shoes and accessories. The lifestyle product lines will be available from September 2012 under the label MINI by PUMA. Selected MINI dealerships will be selling a range of items, while PUMA stores and PUMA retail partners will carry the entire collection.
ROLLS-ROYCE APPOINTS NEW DESIGN DIRECTOR
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that Giles Taylor has been appointed Design Director with effect from 1 July 2012 and will report to Adrian van Hooydonk, Senior Vice President BMW Group Design. Taylor replaces Ian Cameron, who retires from the role he has held since 1999.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that James Crichton (46) has been appointed as Regional Director, Europe and South Africa, based at the company’s head office at Goodwood, West Sussex. In his previous role he was Regional Director, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

On Tuesday, June 12, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Manhattan Motorcars hosted the grand reopening of the expanded Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manhattan, the only official Rolls-Royce showroom in Manhattan at 270 Eleventh Ave. (at W. 27th St.) New York, NY 10001. The new 5,000 square-foot showroom hosted an evening of VIP customers, Manhattan elite, prominent media and celebrity guests.
Grand Opening of new BMW Brand Store in Paris
Munich/Paris. The BMW Group celebrated the grand opening of its first new BMW Brand Store in the most luxurious area of metropolitan Paris in the Avenue George V tonight. The store was designed by the well-known, luxury retail architect, Eric Carlson and his team from Carbondale Architects and Version Architects.

Hong Kong Team wins international contest in Warsaw
Cheung Hoi Fai and Sun Yi, both from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, won 1st prize in the fifth annual Henkel Innovation Challenge (HIC) with their innovative idea for the year 2030. Their Loctite Watts product makes it possible to convert heat waste energy into useful power when applied between the components of a special electronic device. The Chinese student duo beat out nineteen other teams from around the world in the HIC International Finals which took place last week in Warsaw, Poland.
